Where do you work?
We’re based in Austin and take projects across Central Texas — Bouldin and the 78704 neighborhoods, Westlake, Lake Travis, and beyond. Farther afield? Write anyway; we’ll be honest about fit.
Do you publish pricing?
No — Véla is an inquiry-only studio, and every project is scoped individually after a conversation. Sharing a budget range in the form isn’t a commitment; it simply lets us design honestly within it from the first sketch.
Do you design short-term rentals?
Yes — it’s where Véla began. Bailey has been a Superhost for nine years and was elevated to Airbnb Luxe in 2026; we design rentals to book, to earn, and to hold up to real hospitality. See our services for the full scope.
We’re building new — when should we reach out?
Earlier than feels natural, ideally while the plans are still on paper. Selections — finishes, fixtures, lighting, millwork — are easiest to get right before framing, and your builder will thank you.
Can we experience a Véla space in person?
The truest way is to stay in one. Both portfolio homes — The Hether Haus and Bali in Bouldin — are open for bookings at velalivingatx.com . Many clients meet our work as guests first.
